The Returned by Jason MottThe idea could have been from the book of Hebrews. It happened already in the past, resurrection of the dead after the Lord Jesus Christ died. Saint Paul told that this happened that they were resurrected early not in glory ahead of the Christians because the prophecy foretold of simultaneous change to a glorified body on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Although I am on the first chapter, I read the part of the Book of Hebrews and it was shocking to what extent or how far people would accept their dead - some could had more gruesome end than their first death.
